- The Science &
Technology agreement was concluded between two countries
on 12th January 1993 at New Delhi.
- Three Programmes
of Cooperation in Science & Technology for various
periods (1993-95, 1996-99 and 2000-2003) have been
concluded identifying specific projects for specific
duration.
- So far, out of
this collaboration, 2 books on Fuzzy Theory have
been published, research work on liquid crystals,
microprocessor based auto meters, development of
laser based instruments, training to Indian scientists
for krill fishing has been achieved. So far, about
100 exchange visits have taken place since 1997.
- During its last
meeting held at New Delhi on 28th February 2001,
the Indo-Polish Joint S&T Committee has approved
10 new projects to be taken up jointly in addition
to 8 continuing projects.
